Quad Blogging Partner Project

This week, the first week of October is the start of our Quad Blogging Project with 3 other schools.  We will be visiting each others' classroom blogs a week at a time and commenting on the blogs with questions for each other.

Here is a map of where our quad blogging partners are from:
and our location too...
We are so excited to hear from our partners.  All of them are from different parts of Canada-two closer and one farther.

We will also be participating in the "Signs of Fall" twitter project this month.  We'll be tweeting to the hashtag #anfomhar to show seasonal changes we notice.

All of this should be so exciting!  Can't wait to see how things turn out for us this month!

  1. Hi
This is Mrs. Belanger's Grade two class from Windsor Ontario Canada.
We looked at your blog today. We really like the details. We also like your pet fish!
We would like to know if you do Math stations too?
What are you learning about in Math?
How many students are in your class?
We are looking forward to hearing from you!

    1. We are glad you like our pets!

We haven't started math "stations" yet.

We are learning about adding and subtracting up to 10- using part part whole models.

We have 12 boys and 6 girls in our class.

  2. Hello,
This is Mrs.Martel's Grade One Class. We have a few questions for you.
We are wondering where you are and what is the weather like there? We like your fish and we even fed them! How many students are in your class? How many teachers do you have? What are you learning about? We read the same Pete the Cat Book and we read the same book "The Dot". Did you do any special Dot Day activities? We are also wondering how many girls and how many boys are in your class? Do you have a smartboard in your class?

We hope to hear from you soon!
    Sincerely,
    Mrs.Martel's Class

    1. Our weather is mild. We've had temperatures in the mid 60's to 70's last week. It's getting colder this weekend though...more next week. We have 12 boys and 6 girls. Yes, we have a Smartboard-and we love it! One of our favorite games to play is gamebone! http://primarygamesarena.com/gamebone2583
      You will love it!

  4. We run around the neighbourhood supposedly chasing the turkey! Some of our classes make turkey hats to run with. Just lots of fun!
